2026 Cadillac OPTIQ was launched in Europe today. The order books are now open and first customer deliveries are expected in February 2026. The OPTIQ pairs striking, athletic styling with nimble handling, advanced technology, and sustainable, premium materials to create an accessible entry into Cadillac’s electric luxury lineup.
The OPTIQ blends a coupe-like silhouette with a confident crossover stance, delivering a sporty presence without sacrificing interior or cargo space. Its proportions, large wheels, and bold lines give the SUV an athletic, youthful personality while aero details – vented rear spoiler and diffuser – improve efficiency and enhance the visual drama. It is sized for Europe – tight enough for city streets, composed on twisty country roads, and high-speed highways. The model is available in two trims – Premium Luxury and Premium Sport, each tuned for different styles and driving preferences.
Equipped with standard dual-motor all-wheel drive and a 75-kWh battery, OPTIQ produces 304 hp and 480 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 6.3 seconds in Sport Mode and reaching a top speed of 184 km/h. WLTP range reaches up to 425 km, blending spirited performance with everyday practicality, and DC fast charging can add approximately 144 km of range in 15 minutes at compatible stations. Brembo performance front brakes and 21-inch alloy wheels with summer tires are standard, with distinct wheel finishes offered on Premium Luxury and Premium Sport trims.
OPTIQ introduces intuitive energy-recovery systems and adaptable driving dynamics, including a pressure-sensitive Regen On Demand paddle on the steering wheel and one-pedal driving that captures kinetic energy to recharge the battery. Drivers can select from Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice and a customizable My Mode that adjusts steering feel and braking responsiveness to match conditions or personal taste. Advanced radar, camera and ultrasonic sensors underpin visibility and monitoring systems, and the vehicle is Super Cruise capable for future hands-free driving opportunities where available.
The cabin blends refined European design cues with progressive, sustainable materials to create a comfortable, modern environment; the center console features PaperWood veneer made from tulip wood and recycled newspaper while patterned Tide fabric is woven from 100 percent recycled polyester. A spacious interior with seating for passengers, over 500 liters of cargo space and a panoramic fixed-glass roof emphasizes light and openness. Technology includes a 33-inch diagonal curved LED display with 9K resolution and an AKG Studio 19-speaker system with Dolby Atmos to deliver immersive, three-dimensional audio.
OPTIQ’s exterior highlights include a panoramic fixed-glass roof that creates a seamless transition from glass to sheet metal, a signature black crystal grille with a laser-etched pattern and vertical Cadillac lighting, and a rear-quarter window crafted from acoustic laminate glass featuring a precision graphic that references Cadillac heritage. These elements combine technical refinement with a youthful, high-tech aesthetic that distinguishes OPTIQ within the compact luxury EV segment.
The OPTIQ complements Cadillac’s expanding European EV lineup alongside LYRIQ, LYRIQ-V and VISTIQ, appealing to urban drivers, families, young couples and performance-minded buyers who want luxury, efficiency and distinctive styling in a compact package. The two trims, Premium Luxury and Premium Sport, allow customers to prioritize refined comfort or a sportier, more dynamic driving presence depending on lifestyle and taste.
Cadillac OPTIQ will be available initially in Sweden, Germany, France and Switzerland, priced between EUR 65,000 and EUR 69,500.
